Man in his fifties airlifted to hospital
A motorcyclist is seriously injured in hospital following a collision near Rousdon in East Devon on Monday afternoon.
A red Honda motorcycle and a white Renault Kangoo collided just before 4 p.m. on the A3052 Sidmouth Road at the junction with Green Lane.
The biker, a man in his fifties from Exeter, suffered multiple injuries and was airlifted to Derriford Hospital. The car driver wasn't hurt.
The road was closed for seven hours for a specialist examination of the scene.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses to contact them. They would particularly like to hear from anyone with relevant dashcam footage.
