A campaign's been launched today to try and reduce Devon's higher than average suicide rate.
Around 75 people take their own lives in the county every year.
The message of the campaign is 'it's safe to talk about suicide', encouraging people who're concerned about a friend or relative to ask them directly if they need help.
A leaflet's been produced based on research by the University of Exeter Medical school, giving guidance on how to approach the subject and explaining why it's so important to do so.
