Exeter city council is supporting a campaign targeting private landlords who fail to keep their properties in good repair.
The charity Shelter is asking local authorities to help its crackdown on rogue landlords, by enforcing the existing laws and publicising their tough stance on those who don't fulfil their responsibilities to tenants.
Exeter is among 100 councils who've signed up.
