Residents in an area of Exeter plagued by drug dealing and anti-social behaviour are hoping to get funding to extend a highly successful community warden scheme.
Thanks to grant funding, the St David's Neighbourhood Parthership were able to take on a warden for six months to patrol the area, record incidents and pass on information to the police.
Now they're applying to housing associations and the Exeter Community Forum for money so that the warden can continue his work after next month.
The Partnership are meeting this evening to discuss the way forward.
