Speeding motorists in the Kenton, Starcross and Powderham area are being targeted over the next few days.
Community volunteers will be measuring the speeds of vehicles on local roads.
Those caught going too fast will initially be advised to watch their speed - but if it happens again they'll receive a warning, and the next time they will face enforcement action.
