Orcombe Point at Exmouth could get new signs imploring people to call the Samaritans if they's contemplating suicide.
The cliffs to the east of the seafront have been the scene of numerous deaths over the years.
But some people believe that signs themselves could mark out Orcombe Point as a suicide destination.
