Questions will be asked today about child safeguarding in Devon and the well-being of children in county council care.
Liberal Democrat councillors will be raising their concerns at the Cabinet meeting later.
It follows the recent revelations that children at the Rifford Road care home in Exeter may have been subjected to unneccessary use of restraint... which came just weeks after an OFSTED report branded the council's child safeguarding 'inadequate'.
The Cabinet member for children's services, Councillor Will Mumford, says there's been no attempt to hide any details of the report's content, the issues raised by OFSTED or the work being done now to improve matters
