The Mayor of Honiton says he's pleased athlete Jo Pavey has claimed gold in the 10-thousand metres at the European Athletics Championships in Zurich.
The forty year old from the town has rewritten the record books as she's the oldest winner of a European title.
She gave birth to her second child last September and is also a member of the Exeter Harriers Athletics Club. Mayor Peter Halse is congratulating her.
