New measures to tackle homelessness in Exeter and mid and east Devon are to be introduced, thanks to a successful bid for Government funding.
The local authorities, along with Torbay and Teignbridge councils, will receive a quarter of a million pounds.
It'll pay for specialist workers to help homeless people who have complex needs - and inmates being released from prison.
It comes as concern's been raised about the increased number of people sleeping rough in Exeter, many of whom have drug or alcohol problems.
