Following the revelations about child sex abuse in Rotherham, Devon county council is being asked whether it's currently employing anyone who was working for the local authority there at the time.
The authorities in Rotherham were strongly criticised this week after it emerged that they'd failed to prevent around 14 hundred children being sexually groomed and exploited.
Local councillor Alan Connett has made a written request to the director in charge of children's services at Devon county council.
He's also asking what action will be taken if any former Rotherham council staff in relevant departments are found to be working - directly or indirectly - in local children's services.
