He's fighting for his life
A man's in a serious but stable condition after being attacked by a group of men behind a Plymouth bar that serves the LGBTQ+ community.
Officers and paramedics were called at 12.45am on Saturday to Gossip in Bilbury Street, Plymouth where the 42-year-old had sustained several stab wounds. His injuries are life-threatening.
A group of men and teenage boys ran from the scene and got into a vehicle in Southside Street. The vehicle was located in Saltash a short time later.
Two men, one aged 27 and from Plympton and the other aged 30 from Plymouth, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault and previous bodily harm (GBH). The 27-year-old has been released without charge. A 21-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy from Saltash was arrested on suspicion of assault GBH with intent. An 18-year-old from Saltash was arrested on suspicion of assault GBH with intent, drink driving, possession of a Class A drug.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident and asking for anyone with information to contact them via 101@dc.police.uk or by telephone on 101, quoting crime reference CR/055659/20.
