A much-loved nature reserve in Exmouth is closer to being safeguarded, thanks to donations of money to help the Devon Wildlife Trust to buy it.
Last month the charity launched an appeal for 45 thousand pounds, the amount it's short of the full purchase price of Bystock Pools.
Already more than 36 thousand pounds have come in thanks to supporters of the Trust, residents who visit the reserve and Bystock Pools' own band of volunteers.
The land is currently owned by South West Water who want to sell it.
