Driver disqualified and fined nearly £700
Someone driving a Ford Fiesta, who crashed their car into road closure signs on A38 after having 'a week bit to drink', has been disqualified for 23 months and fined £690.
Devon and Cornwall Police Roads Policing Team said: "Driver of the Fiesta had a wee bit to drink. So much so he collided with the road closure signs on A38 Splatford Split, driving at road workers before being blocked by other maintenance cars.
"Driver is spending the night in custody."
