A car hit a house near Cheriton Bishop
A person has suffered serious injuries, after their car crashed into a house near Cheriton Bishop yesterday afternoon [28 December].
The incident involved a Morris Minor on the old A30 in the village of Crockernwell just before 4pm.
The driver - reportedly a woman in her 80s - was then airlifted to hospital, whilst the main road through Crockernwell remains closed due to structural damage. It is expected to open tomorrow, Monday [30 December].

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward, quoting log 0503 of 28th December 2019.
