Exeter businesses with slow broadband can apply for Government funding to improve the service. Exeter has been approved to join the Broadband Connection Vouchers Scheme from April.
The vouchers can pay for fibre connections or better lease arrangements - or guest houses can use them to install Wi-Fi for guests.
Small or medium-sized companies, or individuals working from home, can apply for up to three thousand pounds.
