Exeter City are in Merseyside for their League 2 match against Tranmere this afternoon.
Paul Tisdale will be on the opposing manager's bench to former Grecians player - and now Tranmere boss - Rob Edwards.
The pair have a long history - they played together at Bristol City and Edwards was one of Paul Tisdale's first signings at St James’s Park when he took over in 2006.
The Grecians re-signed former captain David Noble earlier this week.
