An Exeter language school has fined a group of its students for graffitiing buildings in the city.
15 Globe Language School's students have been hit in the pocket after they took spray-cans to properties on Exeter Quay.
Exeter City Council taxpayers have to stump up the costs of removing graffiti across the city and it is become so prevalent they have increased the number of people in the team sorting it out from one to three.
The language school on St David's Hill found the culprits and fined them £75 each.
They have turned over the total - £1,125.00 - to the council, which will go towards the cost of the chemicals needed to erase the graffiti.
The council's praised Globe Language School for finding and punishing the students so swiftly.
