The number of independent traders in Exeter has risen sharply in recent years - and that's been welcomed by business leaders.
Not long ago Exeter was criticised for being a 'clone town' with a high proportion of retail and cafe chains and few truly local, independent traders.
But now several 'indie' shops are open and some businesses are using the street food and Innovations market to showcase their wares.
