An initiative to make Exmouth a safer place for a night out is proving so successful, it could be set up in Tiverton and Teignmouth.
All of Exmouth's licensed premises have come together to tackle anti-social behaviour in pubs, bars and clubs.
A radio system enables licensees to alert one another about any troublemakers - and under a 'one strike and you're out' policy, once anyone's caught behaving badly in one venue, they'll be refused entry everywhere else.
Licensees also hold regular meetings to discuss any issues of anti-social behaviour.
The co-ordinated approach has been so effective that police have asked its organisers to help set it up in other local towns.
