A fifth man has been arrested in connection with an assault on a man in Exeter's Cowick Street.
The victim Tom Coe, who's in his early 20s, was found there in the early hours of Saturday August 8th, with head and neck injuries.
He remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital.
Four men, one from Newton Abbot and three from Exeter, were arrested last week - now another man, from Newton Abbot, has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, and been bailed until 24 November.
A 22-year-old woman from Barnstaple has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and bailed until 1 September.
