Months of disruption to traffic in the Barrack Road area of Exeter starts today as more than two kilometres of old metal gas pipes are replaced.
It'll involve rolling road closures in the area and traffic controls.
Wales and West Utilities says the work will be done in four phases to minimise disruption and will take 18 weeks.
