The latest economic well-being survey of Exeter residents has produced a mixed picture.
Citizens Advice have just released the results of the online questionnaire which ran in July.
There was a big increase in the number of respondents who'd received a pay rise - and many said they'd benefited from the introduction of the national living wage.
But the results also showed a lot of financial insecurity, with people admitting to borrowing money off family or friends..
