Exeter's RD&E hospital has become the first in the country to receive a top award for its care of new mothers and their babies.
The neo-natal unit has earned the highest level of UNICEF's Baby Friendly accreditation.
It means the unit provides excellent care and helps parents to develop a close and loving relationship with their newborn children.
