4 men due in court
Four men have been charged with drug offences after a fishing boat was intercepted.
Border Force officials found nearly a tonne of cocaine on board off the coast of Newquay on Friday afternoon (14 September).
The National Crime Agency is leading the investigation.
The suspects are from Swansea and Manchester and are believed to be part of an organised crime gang which is fuelling county line supplies, knife crime and violent behaviour.
All four have been remanded in custody and are due before Bodmin Magistrates today (16 September 2024).
