Police in Exeter are warning cyclists to secure their bicycles carefully - after a huge increase in thefts.
Twenty-nine have been stolen in the last month - in some cases by thieves who cut through a flimsy lock in broad daylight.
Officers are advising cyclists to invest at least 10 per cent of the value of their bike on a proper lock.
