More than 200 go to polls in special referendum
Half of Ide turned out yesterday in a referendum on plans to build a new park and ride facility on the outskirts of the village.
Four out of five people who voted said they didn't want the park and ride near them.
Organisers of the referendum - who were strongly against the plans - say it was a remarkable turnout - especially as the poll took place during the Easter week.
They'll now be sending the results to planners at Devon County Council. But the vote's not legally binding.
