The number of people needing help with welfare benefits and tax credits in Exeter is continuing to rise.. but fewer are seeking advice on debt, housing and employment.
The local Citizens Advice Bureau has published its latest figures.
They show that the number of enquiries relating to benefits is up by 8 per cent on the same time last year... but those relating to employment are down by 42 per cent and housing enquiries have fallen by a fifth.
Those enquiries are returning to the levels the Exeter CAB used to see before the recession took hold in 2008.
