The fight against rural crime in Devon is benefiting from improved farm security and a better understanding by police, according to the insurer NFU Mutual.
It's been working with the rural community to help people protect their properties better, and also with police.
Security marking on tractors and other machinery also makes them easier to identify if recovered.
