Local solicitors and barristers are taking action to help people who've lost out on the chance of legal aid.
Two years ago the Government slashed the budget for paying legal practitioners to advise and represent those who couldn't afford their fees.
But the local Law Society are raising money for a charity which awards grants to people who'd previously have qualified for legal aid.
Among those taking part are employees at Cartridges Solicitors in Exeter, who used to do a lot of legal aid work before the cuts took effect.
