The Exmouth’s inshore lifeboat crew were in action last night – to rescue a dog.
The Jack Russell called Paula fell from Orcombe Point while chasing rabbits, during a walk along the South West coast path.
The dog landed on the beach as the tide was coming in and her owners realised that it would be dangerous for them to go and fetch her.
She was taken on board the inshore lifeboat and reunited with her owners, shaken but unhurt.
