Lympstone residents say their village has suddenly become a part of Exmouth - at least in the eyes of the Royal Mail postcode system.
Within the postcode database, all Lympstone postcodes are categorised as Exmouth.
Post is still being delivered normally but residents are indignant about their village's loss of individual identity.
