Vehicle identified, but driver sought
A man has died following a collision on Barton Hill Road, Torquay on Sunday 1 May.
Officers were notified just after midnight to reports of a collision between a pedestrian and a car.
The pedestrian, a man in his forties, received life-threatening injuries as a result and died in hospital shortly after.
His next of kin have been notified and are receiving support from specially trained officers.
The vehicle involved left the scene but has since been identified. Officers are trying to track down the driver.
