He was rescued by fire crews in Ottery St Mary earlier this afternoon
A man's in hospital this evening after falling from height onto a flat roof at Ottery St Mary this afternoon.
Fire crews from Sidmouth helped the South West Ambulance service bring the casualty to safety from the site on a road to Badgers Hill in the town.
There's no news on his condition at this stage.
It was the second rescue at height within an hour. Earlier, a woman and a dog who were stuck on a cliff ledge at St Marychurch at Torquay were brought to safety after the Coastguard called in the fire service.
