A man in his sixties, thought to be a lorry driver, has died in a road collison in the Moorhayes area of Tiverton.
It happened in Lea Road just after 7.30 this morning.
It's believed that the man, who's name hasn't been released, was walking near his vehicle when he was in collision with a van driven by a man in his fifties from the Tiverton area.
He's been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving and is in police custody.
