A Cullompton man described as a predatory child sex offender is starting a 19 year jail sentence.
Sixty five year old John Bidmead was sent to prison by Exeter Crown Court after pleading guilty to a string of offences.
Afterwards the judge praised the work of the police in bringing Bidmead to justice.
Police said it had been a distressing and sensitive investigation, particularly for the victims of Bidmead's abuse.
