Multiple wounds not life-threatening
Two people have been arrested following a stabbing in Tiverton in the early hours of Friday.
Police were called shortly before 3 a.m. to Bampton Street in the town following reports of an assault.
A man had sustained multiple stab wounds to his hand, which are not believed to be serious. Officers seized a knife at the scene.
A 33-year-old man from Tiverton was taken into custody on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a bladed article and a 28-year-old man, also from the town was arrested on suspicion of affray.
