A motorcyclist has died following a crash in Exeter yesterday afternoon [Thursday 9 October].
Emergency services were call to Trusham Road, Marsh Barton at 4.35pm following reports of a collision between a motorbike and car.
The biker, a man in his 20s from Cullompton, was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
The road in the industrial estate, at the junction with Marsh Green Road East was closed for many hour because of investigations.
A woman in her 30s from Exeter was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving and has been released under investigation.
Police are appealing for witnesses and dash-cam footage and are urging anyone with information to contact them on 101 or via the Devon and Cornwall Police website quoting 50250262018.
