Conservative MPs from across the south west are to press the Government to fund an important study on the need for local rail improvements.
The Peninsula Rail Task Force is due to hand in its report on what's needed later this year, but needs an accompanying study by Network Rail - which the Department of Transport has so far declined to fund.
This week the Task Force met MPs from across the region and lobbied them on the issue - and they are now urging transport ministers to foot the bill.
