WATCH: Paignton Picturehouse and Torre Abbey to benefit
A Torbay cinema is to be revived thanks to the government's Culture Development Fund.
The scheme was established during the pandemic to help restore the country's creative sector, one of the most badly hit during the crisis.
Paignton Picturehouse closed 23 years ago, but a £3 million grant could see it reopening, probably in 2025.
Torre Abbey in Torquay will receive £500,000 from the same fund.
