East Devon man, 30, arrested
An East Devon man is being questioned on suspicion of murder following the death of a man at a property in Beer.
Police were called to a report of a disturbance at an address in Clapp’s Lane in the famously tranquil town at around just after midnight on Tuesday [18 May].
A man aged in his 30s was pronounced deceased at the scene. His next-of-kin have been informed.
A 30-year-old man from the East Devon area was taken into custody whilst enquiries continued throughout the day.
