Devon and Cornwall Police’s dog section have bred their own litter of puppies for the first time.
Their German Shepherd dog Ruby gave birth to the four female and three male pups on Monday.
It's hoped that when they're old enough they'll be trained as police dogs - but will first go to family homes for up to 18 months.
