Exmouth looks set to get a much-needed extension to an important access road in the town.
County councillors have decided to go ahead with plans to extend Deenan Way between Hulham Road and the A376.
The chosen route, to be detailed in a planning application, has been based on consultation with local residents and the district council.
The new road is expected to cost up to 12 million pounds.
