Exeter's Rugby World Cup Fanzone has been enjoyed by tens of thousands of people during the tournament so far.
But a local councillor has raised concerns about the state of Northernhay Gardens as a result of the fanzone.
Councillor Percy Prowse says once it is cleared at the end of October, the park will have to be re-turfed because of damage and littering.
He doesn't think it will be ready for the Remebrance Day event in November and that wood chips will have to be laid down for safety reasons.
The damage has been caused by shards of plastic cups that have been trodden in to the ground and cannot be removed.
