25 emergency calls as smoke billows from windows
A fire at a domestic property in Paignton on Sunday afternoon led to a flurry of calls to the emergency services.
The fire service says 25 calls were received to a blaze at Colley End Park around 3.37 pm. They initially sent two appliances from Paignton and an aerial ladder platform from Torquay.
But when they arrived, they called for back up from another three appliances. The fire was put out without reported injuries. It's believed to have started in the kitchen. The cause hasn't been revealed.
