93-year-old hit in Newton Poppleford
A 93-year-old man has died three days after being in a collision with a car on Newton Poppleford's High Street last Wednesday, 23 December.
Kenneth Cooper, a local man, was a pedestrian and was hit by a Ford Fiesta.
He was taken to The Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital with life-threatening injuries where he passed away on Boxing Day. His next of kin were informed. The driver of the car was uninjured.
Officers from the roads policing team are appealing for witnesses to the incident to contact them on 101, quoting log 753 of 23 December.
