The death isn't being treated as suspicious
A person has died after being hit by a train in Exeter.
Officers from the British Transport Police were called to Digby and Sowton at 2.43pm on Sunday to reports of a casualty on the tracks. Paramedics also attended but a person was pronounced dead at the scene.
As a result, services were affected between between Exeter Central and Exmouth.
The death isn't being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
