Boris Johnson: "My thoughts are with those affected"
A man suspected of killing five people before turning the gun on himself has been named locally as 22-year-old Jake Davison,
Police said the incident is the worst mass shooting in Britain since 2010.
Two males and two females were confirmed deceased at the scene, and another female died later in hospital.
Devon and Cornwall Police stress that this isn't terrorism.
Meanwhile, prime minister Boris Johnson has thanked the emergency services for their response.
My thoughts are with the friends and family of those who lost their lives and with all those affected by the tragic incident in Plymouth last night. I thank the emergency services for their response.
