An operation to reduce thefts of metal in Devon and Cornwall is being hailed a success.
There was a surge in the level of thefts in recent years following a global rise in metal prices.
Police have been carrying out an operation called Tornado, working with legitimate dealers to make it harder for thieves to sell on stolen material... they've also targeted suspect vehicles and scrap dealers.
