Police in Tiverton are investigating the attempted kidnap of an 11 year old girl in Tiverton.
The girl was out walking her dog in the Melbourne Street area of Tiverton between 7.20pm-7.35pm last Friday evening.
She was approached by a man who attempted to grab her, but the girl managed to free herself and run away.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who was passing the West Exe Park entrance on Well Brook Street at the time.
Police say they are currently treating this matter as an isolated incident.
