A 33 year old biker from Newton Abbot died on Thursday.
Officers are hoping to find a lorry driver who they think saw a biker crash near Chudleigh in the early hours of Thursday morning (25th July).
The road was closed for 10 hours to allow police to investigate the crash.
The lorry was seen travelling Plymouth-bound (west) on the A38 in the area of Chudleigh and officers think this driver may be able to provide an eyewitness account or have vital dash camera footage.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or may have been in the area at the time and have dashcam footage are asked to contact MPC 5351 TYLER-JONES at the Serious Collisions Investigation Team on 01392 226295 quoting log number 94 for 25 July.
